Osteoarthritis (Ncell - Joint)

Human umbilical cord-derived mesenchymal Stem Cells (hUcMSCs) are stem cells with multiple differentiation potential and immunomodulatory function. ncell-Join comprises in vitro expanded hUC-MSCs from healthy umbilical cord donor combined with hyluronic acid (HA) suspension solution. Number of stem cell and volume of HA will be determined based on the area of cartilage damage.

Frailty (Ncell - Age)

Chronic diseases and degenerative conditions are strongly linked with the geriatric syndrome of frailty and account for hospitalization, institutionalization, disability, and death. There is a strong link between frailty, inflammation, and the impaired ability to repair tissue injury due to decreases in endogenous stem cell production. Ncell-Age contribute to cellular repair and tissue regeneration through their multilineage differentiation capacity, immunomodulatory, and anti-inflammatory effects, homing and migratory capacity to injury sites, and stimulatory effect on endogenous tissue progenitors. We have demonstrated the safety profile of repeated dose of Ncell-Age in humanized animal model.

Cardiac Regeneration (Ncell - Rhythm)

Mesenchymal stem cells and their derived Exosomes have been demonstrated to promote cardiac regeneration following myocardial infarction in preclinical studies. We are developing a novel methodology (Ncell-Rhythm) to increase the therapeutic outcome by injecting the stem cell derived Exosomes to reduced inflammatory levels and increase the level of stem cell recruitment (which in turn promote hUC-MSC retention and survival) followed by preconditioned MSCs, thereby leading to improve heart performance.

Type 2 Diabetes (Ncell - T2DM)

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is chronic inflammatory process contributed to insulin resistance (IR) and impaired insulin secretion. Current practiced treatment cannot reverse β cell damage or alleviate inflammation. MSCs appear to hold great promise for treatment for T2DM through their precious mechanism of modulate their local environment, activate endogenous progenitor cells and secrete various factors. We are developing a unique protocol (ncell-T2DM) to restore and maintain glucose homeostasis through decreasing systemic oxidative stress and induce the insulin production.

Anti-Skin Aging (Ncell - Skinage)

The primary skin cell of fibroblasts are gradually lose their ability to produce collagen and renew the intercellular matrix with aging. We are currently developing Ncell-Skinage lead product which can induce collagen synthesis and extracellular matrix. Our in vitro study demonstrated that Ncell-Skinage lead product contains various growth factors and cytokines which including VEGF, TFG-β, PDGF provide healthy skin. Apart from that, few other factors like KGF, IGF-1, IL6. IL11, M-CSF and TFG-β are more important in skin regeneration.

Immunotherapy for Cancer (Ncell - Onco)

Immunotherapy is the most efficient on-target therapeutic approach to treat broad range of cancer. Our developing Ncell-Onco lead product represent γδ T cells and NK cells are the potential source for adoptive cell immunotherapy due to their unique biology. NK and γδ T cells have the unique ability to bridge innate and adaptive immunity while responding to a broad range of tumors. NK and γδ T cell tumor recognition and killing is not dependent on the expression of a single antigen, where they recognize a broad spectrum of antigens on various cancer cells through their diverse innate cytotoxicity receptors expressed on their cell membrane. NK and γδ T cells recognize their target cells in a classical MHC-independent manner leading to low or absent risk of alloreactivity and GvHD. These cells home in a wide variety of tissues wherein they can rapidly respond to the target and release effector cytokines. These features allow us to make unmodified NK and γδ T cells an attractive source to treat broad rand of cancer.
